Description

Basset's Cross is a wayside cross dating from the late medieval period. It was significantly restored around 1903 by a Mr. Andrews of Hatherleigh. The cross is made of granite and features a short Latin cross. The only original part of the cross is the chamfered stem; the arms and head have been replaced.
