Description

The garden wall with an arch, located approximately 50 metres north of The Garden House, dates from the early 16th century. It features a dressed granite archway with a four-centred design, which includes a hollow double ogee and hollow moulding, as well as cushion stops. The wall itself is constructed from very small slate stone rubble. The archway may have originally provided access to the hall of a former vicarage.
