Description

Humphreys Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately 9 meters north of the vestry of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Weare Giffard. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The monument features a moulded cornice and moulded corner balusters, with a scribed architrave that surrounds the inscription panel. It commemorates John Humphreys, who died in 1830.
