Description

Magowrney Cottage is likely from the 18th century, and has been altered since. It is a two-story, three-window building with a rendered and whitewashed front. A band runs along the first floor. The cottage has Georgian sash windows; one first-floor window on the left has altered glazing bars. A lead rainwater head is located on the right side. The front garden is enclosed by a low whitewashed wall, topped with unusual 19th-century cast iron cresting. The cottage is part of a group of listed buildings on Myrtle Street.
