Description

Anchorage is a late 18th century or early 19th century building located on Marine Parade in Appledore. It is a two-storey structure with a stucco front and features a wood ogee bracket eaves cornice. The building has three windows, which are sash windows with three lights on the sides, although the glazing bars have been somewhat altered. The entrance includes a doorcase with a fanlight, supported by Tuscan engaged columns and an entablature that features triglyphs and paterae. Anchorage is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 8, which are consecutive properties.
