Description

Lillecrapp headstone is located about 10 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Giles. This early 19th-century headstone is made of slate and is signed "R. Veale, Clawton." It features a rectangular shape commemorating William Lillecrapp, who died in 1842. The headstone has incised mantling at the top and a verse below the inscription, representing a signed example of local craftsmanship.
