Description
This building is a farm structure located about 25 meters northwest of Stack House, likely dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century addition for the cider house. The left end is constructed of cob on stone rubble footings, while the right end is made of stone rubble. It has a gabled corrugated iron roof, which was originally thatched. The building is two storeys high and features two wide doorways on the left side that lead into the stable, supported by timber lintels. A third doorway on the right side provides access to the cider house, which is made of stone rubble. Stone steps on the right side lead up to the apple loft. Inside, the roof trusses were installed in 1938, and the cider house has a partial loft, with full height on the left side to accommodate a late 19th-century beam press that is still in working order.
