Description

Nos 27 to 31 on Market Street in Appledore are probably from the early 18th century and have been altered. The building is two stories tall and features stippled rendering. Each of the first-floor windows is a sash window with an exposed frame and glazing barn. Number 27 has a plain recessed entrance and an interior early 18th-century boarded door with strap hinges. Number 29 showcases delicate reeded pilasters on the wooden case of a six-panel door, which has sunk upper panels and panelled reveals. Number 31 has an early 19th-century shop front, which includes a shallow bow, glazing bars, a wooden case, and a six-panel door. All the listed buildings on Market Street form a group.
