Description

Bristol House is a probably early 19th-century painted brick corner house on Market Street in Appledore. It has a two-storey, three-window front, including a central blank panel with a moulded sill. A quasi-ogee bracket cornice tops the building. The sash windows retain segmental heads, and now have side glazing bars only. An early or mid-19th century wooden shopfront features pilasters with raised panels and an enriched cornice. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along Market Street.
