Description
Nos 44 to 48 on Market Street in Appledore are probably from the early 19th century. Number 44 features a plain four-panel door without a number, located in the wall of the garden of the house facing the quay, known as Sailors' Rest. Number 46 is a two-storey building with one sash window on each floor, showcasing an exposed frame and glazing bars. It has a whitened stucco exterior and a six-panel door with sunk upper panels. Number 48 is also two storeys high, with two sash windows on the first floor that have exposed frames, although the glazing bars are missing. The ground floor has a large display window on the right, which is a casement with a central vertical bar, and a shop entrance on the left. All the listed buildings on Market Street are part of a group value context.
