Description

The Coach House, located to the west of the Old Rectory, is a coach house and stables that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from around 1836 and was restored and converted around 1980. The building is constructed of random rubble local stone with brick dressings and has slate roofs. There is a 20th-century brick stack on the center left of the main elevation. The structure is L-shaped and is linked at the east corner to the Old Rectory by a doorway in a short section of wall.

The Coach House is two storeys high and has three bays. The first floor features two-light casements with pointed arch lights, while the ground floor has similar windows on the left and a three-light window that has been inserted into a former doorway opening. Additionally, there is a five-light window inserted into a former double doorway, both with segmental heads, and a 20th-century plank door in the end bay on the right.

On the left return, the building continues for two storeys with three bays. The gable end on the right has a pointed arch window, and the wing features large 20th-century fixed light windows set below the eaves. There is a square-headed opening in the end bay on the left, along with two pointed arch French windows and a central segmental-headed opening.
