Description
Priestacott Farmhouse, built in 1735, features early 18th century construction. The building is a two-storey long range, with stone and brick outbuildings extending to the left. Inside, the beams are now cased, and there are ledged plank doors with wrought hinges on lugs on both floors. The first-floor doors have H hinges with straps and include some fielded panels. The 18th-century staircase has column newels and square balusters. The site is referenced in the Domesday Book.
