Description
The Colt's Stable, located approximately 30 metres to the south-west of Halsdon House, is a former stable dating from the mid 19th century. It features stone rubble walls with rustic wooden cladding and has a gable-ended thatch roof. The building is single storey and has a symmetrical front with a large central gable that slightly projects, beneath which is a large 20th-century transomed window. The entrance is located in the right-hand end wall, and there is an enclosed yard at the left-hand end that includes another doorway. Internally, the stable is divided into two large loose boxes with a small adjoining yard outside.
