Description
The stables, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Cotleigh House, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of local stone rubble with some brick dressings and feature a slate roof. The building is low and faces east into a cobbled stable courtyard. It serves as stables with haylofts above. There are two front doorways, one at each end; the left doorway has a 20th-century two-flap door, while the right doorway features a reused 19th-century panelled door. The right doorway is flanked by pointed arch-headed windows, and there is an arch-headed hayloft loading hatch in the right (south) gable-end wall. The roof is gable-ended.
