Description

The Cock headstone, located about 11 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St Nicholas, is a late 18th-century slate headstone. It features a segmental top and commemorates Digory Cock, who died in 1791. The headstone is adorned with a carved book crown and a death's head, flanked by eternal lamps. Below the inscription, there is a verse.
