Description

Hawtreys is a three-storey house built in the mid-19th century in Dawlish West Cliff. The exterior is stuccoed, and the roof is covered with slate, with two modern dormers. The house has three sash windows on each floor, retaining their original glazing bars, although fitted with external PVC frames to create double glazing. The first-floor windows feature Regency-style blind boxes decorated with a Greek key design. A doorcase on the right side is distinguished by fluted quarter columns and a semi-circular fanlight, with panelled reveals.
