Description
The former mill house, located about 125 metres northwest of Pennycombe Farmhouse, is likely from the early 19th century. It is built of red sandstone and features slate roofs, with gabled ends. The building has an H-shaped plan and includes a large porch on the west end. The exterior is robustly constructed, featuring a plinth and cut stone dressings. There is a large doorway leading into the gabled porch, which has a segmental internal arch. The north elevation displays regular window arrangements with cut stone dressings and keystones, alongside a section of cob wall that runs parallel to it. The east end features paired timber doors with a reused lintel and two loft windows with neatly-dressed stone sills. The interior no longer contains any machinery.
