Description

This chest tomb, dating from 1639, is located approximately 2 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary in Abbotskerswell. It features limestone rubble sides and a slate lid. The lid is engraved with an inscription at the head and an epitaph below, both of which are virtually illegible.
