Description
Summercourt is a house, now functioning as a rest home, built around the 1820s to 1830s and has undergone alterations. The exterior features painted pebbledash and a slate roof with rendered stacks at the gable ends. It has a double-depth plan, with a large three-storey block at the rear and some 20th-century additions. The front elevation is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. A Tuscan porch with a cornice and entablature is situated in the center, flanked by single-storey canted bays topped with tented roofs. The windows are from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have been altered. Attached to the building are coped walls that extend down for approximately 5 meters on each side below the first-floor level.
