Description
This is a bridge located about 80 meters southeast of Whiteway House, likely built in the early 19th century. It carries a carriageway over a stream and is constructed of brick with cast iron parapets and grey limestone piers. The bridge features a single span with a segmental arch. The openwork cast iron parapets have intersecting arch braces that end in scrolls where they meet the stanchions. The parapets are attached to rectangular grey limestone terminal piers, which have sunk rectangular panels. This bridge is one of the listed features within the grounds of Whiteway House.
