5/15 Barn at Five Wyches Farm, about - 10 metres west of farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably C17 or earlier. Cob and stone, with minor concrete block repair. Thatched roof, half-hipped. At right-hand end of front wall an open-fronted thatched lean-to; its front is carried in centre by 2 granite posts by a concrete block pillar at right-hand end, and by a piece of tree trunk at left-hand end. Roof of barn completely concealed by straw. Building makes an excellent group with farmhouse (q.v.).
