Description
This is a barn located about 10 metres west of the farmhouse at Five Wyches Farm. It is probably from the 17th century or earlier and is constructed of cob and stone, with some minor repairs using concrete blocks. The barn features a thatched roof that is half-hipped. On the right-hand end of the front wall, there is an open-fronted thatched lean-to. The front of this lean-to is supported in the centre by two granite posts, with a concrete block pillar on the right-hand end and a piece of tree trunk on the left-hand end. The roof of the barn is completely covered by straw. This building forms an excellent group with the farmhouse.
