Description

The retaining wall to Fordland Brook and the bridge across the brook are likely from the 19th century or earlier, while the bridge itself dates to around 1900. The wall is constructed of stone rubble, and the bridge is made of brick. It features a single span with a segmental arch and parapets that curve outward at each end. Together, these elements create a picturesque group alongside "The College" and the row of listed buildings opposite the Huntsman public house.
