Description

This is a chest tomb located about 11 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St Catherine of Alexandria. It dates from the early 19th century, but it may be on an earlier base. The tomb is made of granite and freestone, featuring a 19th-century stone slab with hipped ends resting on a chamfered granite slab, which is set on a freestone base. The granite slab and base might predate the 19th-century work. The inscription on the tomb is largely illegible.
