Description

These are a group of two pairs of cottages dating from the early 19th century, built after 1801. They are located on the west side of Warland. The cottages are two storeys high and each has one window. They have Welsh slate roofs with old, rendered chimney stacks. The frontages of numbers 6 to 8 are rendered, while number 9 has a limewashed facade of random limestone rubble. The windows are recessed sash windows, with many retaining glazing bars; number 9 has ground floor shutters. The doorways are recessed and have modern doors, with hoods above numbers 8 and 9.
