Description

Warland House is a mid-19th century, two-storey, double-fronted building located on the west side of Warland. It features a Welsh slate roof with moulded gable stacks. The front is rendered and has rusticated stucco quoins at the ground floor, which rise to form paired pilasters with brackets that support the eaves cornices on the first floor. There is a plain band at the first floor level. The windows are recessed sash types with plain square-cut surrounds, and the ground floor windows have cornices above them. The entrance is distinguished by pilasters that support an entablature, and it includes a rectangular fanlight above a panelled door.
