Description

Broomborough House is a mid-19th century farmhouse designed in the Gothic style. It stands two and a half storeys tall with irregularly placed windows. The roof is covered in Welsh slate and features moulded ashlar stacks and coped gables. The building is constructed from snecked, squared rubble of Devonian limestone, accented with freestone dressings. Notable architectural features include transom and mullion windows with arched lights, some of which have hood moulds. The entrance is marked by a gabled porch that contains an arched doorway with a moulded surround and a hood mould.
