Description
Lower Bowcombe is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It features a joint-lined stucco front, with slate-hung sides and stone rubble walls. The roof is hipped and covered with slurried slate. The building has a simple pile plan with a service wing at the rear and stands two storeys tall with three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and stone cills. The central entrance has a round arched doorway with a traceried semi-circular fanlight above and a panel door. Stone chimney stacks are located on the side walls.
