Description

These gate piers, located approximately 50 meters to the north-east of Gerston Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century. They are constructed from squared and coursed slatestone rubble and feature a chamfered plinth. The right-hand pier is topped with an ogee cornice, a shaped neck, and a granite ball finial, while the left-hand pier has lost its cap and finial.
