Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, with later 20th-century modernisation. It is constructed of plastered stone rubble, with some of the stone left exposed on the right-hand end. The house has end chimney stacks with rendered brick chimney shafts; the left-hand stack has decorative pots. The roof is covered in slate.

The house is arranged over three storeys with a double-depth plan, comprising two rooms wide and a central entrance passage. The front of the house presents a symmetrical three-window facade, with the plasterwork designed to resemble ashlar and rusticated quoins at each end. It features 12-pane sash windows, which are larger on the ground floor. The central doorway is round-headed and contains a recessed four-panel door, set under a plain fanlight and raised one stone step. Plain eaves run along the parallel, gable-ended roof. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to contain features of interest.
