Description

No. 24 Fore Street is a building that underwent remodelling in the early 19th century, originally being an earlier house. It stands three storeys tall and features one window. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, complemented by a rendered stack. The eaves cornice is bracketed. The front is finished in stucco and includes a wide segmental bowed window bay that extends the full height of the building. The windows are architraved sash types, with side lights and glazing bars. The shop front is wooden and bowed, supported by pilasters that carry an entablature, and features a shop window with columnette mullions.
