Description
Cobbles Cottage, adjoining No 2 to the east, is a 17th century or early 18th century stone cottage that has been altered. It is two storeys high, with part of No 1 whitened. The windows have been changed to canted leaded casements, and the entrances feature modern canopies. No 2 has a massive stone chimney with drips and capping. The windows of No 1 retain glazing bars, with various alterations and restoration evident. The cottage has a steeply pitched slate roof, and part of it is likely from the 18th century with further alterations. Cobbles Cottage, Buckley Cottage, Nos 1 and 2, Sunncombe, and The Nook form a group.
