Description
This is a cartshed located approximately 30 metres south-southwest of West Pitten Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite dressings and features a slate roof with gabled ends. The structure is open-fronted with five bays; four of these bays have three monolithic granite piers that support a loft above, which is now clad in corrugated iron. The fifth bay, at the southeast end, is also open-fronted but is separated by a solid wall, and the loft above has a stone rubble front wall. There are external stairs leading to the loft on the northwest end. This building is included for its group value.
