Description

Riverside Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century, constructed of stone rubble with a thatched roof featuring hipped and gabled ends. The building is L-shaped in plan and has two storeys. The front wing, which is on the west side, is a two-storey range that includes two and three-light casements with glazing bars and wooden lintels. There is a 20th-century thatched porch located to the right of the centre. The cottage has stone chimney stacks at the gable ends. At the rear, there is a lean-to outshut in the angle with the rear wing, which has an end stack with set-offs.
