Description

Mill House is a small house dating to approximately the late 17th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble. The steeply pitched slate roof has gabled ends. The front has a three-window arrangement, featuring 20th-century two-light casement windows without glazing bars and slate cills. A circa 19th-century slate roof lean-to porch shelters the central doorway. A large rendered chimney stack with set-offs is located at the gable end. Inside, a heavy ceiling beam with chamfers and a chamfered wooden fireplace bressummer are visible at the north east end.
