Description

The entrance and passage adjoining No 4 (Archway House) lead to Jasmin Cottage and Tower View. This structure includes remains of a building from the late 15th century or early 16th century, which is incorporated into the east wall of the passageway next to No 4. The passage wall is made of limewashed limestone random rubble and features a blocked niche that was once a window opening. There is a well-crafted granite doorway facing the street, which has a four-centred arched head set in a square-headed, moulded surround, complete with carved spandrels.
