Description
Great Trehills Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with the south and east elevations covered in roughcast render. The building has a steeply pitched hipped roof made of asbestos slate and is L-shaped in plan. It stands two storeys high and features two window ranges, with 19th-century two and three-light casements that have glazing bars, set in segmental brick arched openings. There is a rendered stair turret at the angle of the building, which includes a late 19th-century wooden porch on the side. A large rendered external chimneystack is located at the north-east end. Inside, the farmhouse has stopped and chamfered joists.
