Description

The Shippen and Barn Range, located approximately 40 metres east of Higher Hareston, is a building from the late 18th century. It features stone rubble construction with granite quoins and arches, topped by a slate half-hipped roof. The structure is two storeys high and has four shippen doorways on the ground floor, each with segmental stone arches. Above, there are two large doors leading to the hayloft, supported by large wooden lintels. There is also a reset stone dated 1632.
