Description

The gatepiers and bridge in Tawstock Park, located approximately 400 metres south-west of Shorleigh Bridge, consist of 18th-century gatepiers and a bridge likely from the 19th century. The gatepiers are made of ashlar stone and feature a square section with moulded caps and sculpted vases, which are heavily covered in ivy. The bridge has a semicircular arch and is constructed of stone rubble. The gatepiers are positioned at the north ends of the parapet walls.
