Description

The Taylor headstone, located approximately 12 metres south of the south-west corner of the west tower of the Church of St Peter, dates from 1800. It is made of slate and features a nowy-arched design. The inscription reads: "Here Lie the Remains of Robert Taylor senr. who died the 19th July 1800 Aged 66 Weep not for me my friends that be Nor Wife and Children kind When God thinks fit we must submit Unto his holy mind."
