Description
The Sunday School Room and Storage Shed, located approximately 20 metres south of the Church of St John Baptist, is an early 19th-century building. It is constructed from roughly coursed stone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof with brick stacks at each end. The building is rectangular in shape and has two storeys, built into a bank, allowing first-floor access to the school room at the rear, while the stables can be entered from the left gable end. The façade includes a two-window range with two 2-light casements, each having six panes per light, above rectangular window openings that have relieving arches. Wooden shutters flank a small window opening in the centre. There are plank doors located at the left gable end and at the rear right end. The stable fittings remain intact.
