Description
Dinnaton Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse constructed from stuccoed stone and brick. It features a hipped slate roof with deep eaves and stacks on each side, and the eaves and hips are adorned with lead rolls. The building has a rectangular layout with principal rooms on either side of a central passage, and a gable-ended service wing that is two storeys high at the rear. It stands two storeys tall with a basement and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The windows are sashes with six over six panes and retain their original glass. The central porch is plain with an unmoulded cornice, slate windows on the sides, and a straightforward doorway that includes a six-panelled door. The interior retains original features such as shutters, dairy slate shelving, a basement copper, a fireplace, a smoking chamber, and cobbled flooring.
