Description
The Chichester Arms is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It features a whitewashed slate-hanging facade with a slate roof that is hipped at the right end. There is a brick stack at the left gable end and lateral brick stacks at the rear, which are enclosed in a two-storey flat-roofed extension. Additionally, there is a single-storey flat-roofed section at the right end. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with mostly 19th and 20th-century horned sash windows, featuring eight panes in the upper sashes above three similar windows, all equipped with wooden 19th-century sliding shutters. The property includes two gabled porches with slate roofs; the right porch is slate-hung, while the left porch is a 20th-century addition with a half-glazed inner door. The interior has been significantly altered.
