Description
Bramble Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed of rubble with cob in the upper storey and plastered. It features a thatch roof with gable ends, which has been temporarily overlaid with straw thatch at the front. There is a stack at the left gable end. The layout includes a single cell on each side of the staircase and two small slated outshuts at the rear. On the ground floor and first floor, there are two 19th-century two-light timber casement windows, each with six panes per light, located on either side of a 20th-century door and a gabled thatched porch. All window openings have timber lintels. Inside, there are three chamfered beams with ogee stops in the left side cell.
