Description
The Old Coach House, located approximately 60 metres south of East Barton House, is a late 18th-century building that has been repurposed as a garage and storage shed. It features stone rubble on the gable ends and unrendered cob on a rubble plinth for the side walls, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The structure is rectangular in shape and consists of a single storey. Notable architectural details include a stepped front gable parapet with stone cappings and a blind roundel situated above a segmental pointed arched coach entrance, which is framed by stone voussoirs. Additionally, the coach house is positioned over a well at its south-west corner.
