Description
This building is a former stable that has been converted into a storage shed, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Middle Huish Farmhouse. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rendered rubble and cob, topped with a half-hipped thatch roof. The building is rectangular in shape and has two storeys. The east front, which was originally symmetrical, now features blocked windows on either side of a wide infilled central doorway. Access is currently through a stable door at the right end. Inside, there is a cobbled floor with a central gutter, and the early 19th-century pegged trusses with waney rafters are still intact.
