Description

This granary, built in the 19th century, is located approximately 15 metres north-west of Hall House in Bishops Tawton. It features a rendered scantle timber framework with brick infill and has a slate roof with gable ends. The structure is rectangular in shape and consists of two storeys, standing on round brick staddles. There are plank doors at each gable end and horizontal slatted grilles on the opposite sides, which internally still have their wooden shutters. The walls are plastered on the inside, and most of the original interior fittings remain intact.
