Description

The granary located immediately north-east of Thorpe Abbotts Hall is a 17th to 18th century timber-frame structure featuring cart sheds beneath. It is weatherboarded and topped with a steep tiled roof that has gabled ends. The building has two storeys, with the first floor serving as the granary, which is accessed by external steps leading to a loft door at one end. The cart sheds below have been partly blocked, and a modern garage door has been inserted.
