Description

This granary, located about 1 metre north-west of Hawkinge Hall, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a pyramidal slate roof. The structure features two stone staddles on each side, one at each corner, and four staddles under the center. There are no windows on the north or south sides, but there is a small window on the west. Access is provided by a boarded door that is reached by four steps on the east side. The interior has not been inspected, but it is reported to retain its interior divisions.
