Description

Baptist Chapel, built in 1837, is constructed of roughly coursed stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan, with a slightly recessed west end gallery and a room below. It is a single storey with a galleried end and has a three-window range. On the north and south sides, there are two large pointed dressed stone arches with intersecting tracery in the heads of the windows. Additionally, there is a smaller similar window at the front right end, next to a gabled porch that has a glazed gable also featuring intersecting tracery and a five-panelled inner door.
