Description
Nutt and Irwin headstones with accompanying footstones are located approximately 3 metres south of the south-east corner of the south aisle to the Church of St Peter. These are a pair of headstones dating from 1768 and 1814, made of slate. The headstone for William Nutt, who died in 1768, features an inscription and a footstone with an hourglass flanked by floral decoration at the head. The headstone for Joan Irwin, who died in 1814, includes an inscription and a footstone with an incised urn at the head. Both headstones are adorned with angel busts at the top.
